My Take
This is the simplest way to start earning Delta SkyMiles if you fly Delta occasionally and don’t want to think about a big annual fee.
You earn 2X miles at restaurants worldwide (including takeout and delivery in the U.S.) and 2X miles on purchases made directly with Delta. Everything else earns 1X.
It doesn’t come with the travel perks of the higher Delta cards, like a first checked bag or priority boarding. If your family flies Delta a few times a year, compare it to the Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card.
