My Take
If you live near a Delta hub and want a card that makes flying easier without a huge commitment, this is usually where I tell people to start. Checked bags included on Delta flights, priority boarding and solid earning categories make a noticeable difference right away, especially for families.
I also like this as a first Delta card because it keeps your options open if you decide you want to move up later.
