My Take
For me and my family, there’s real value in Marriott if you know where to look, and the Bevy is a solid way to earn Marriott Bonvoy® Points.
You earn 4X Marriott Bonvoy® Points at restaurants worldwide and U.S. supermarkets on up to $15,000 in combined purchases per calendar year, then 2X. That covers a big chunk of a family budget. Other eligible purchases earn 2X, and the Card comes with Marriott Bonvoy® Gold Elite Status.
The Free Night Award is what makes this a long-term keeper for a lot of people. Spend $15,000 in eligible purchases on your Card in a calendar year and you earn a Free Night Award (redemption level at or under 50,000 points; certain hotels have resort fees). A lot of families use this card for kids’ sports travel, since Marriott has such a big footprint.
