My Take

This is a great entry point if you want to start earning Hilton points without paying a high annual fee.

Hilton is one of my favorite programs for families because when you book five nights on points, the fifth night is free on eligible award stays.

Hilton has had devaluations in the past few years (like every program), but if you plan ahead and stay flexible with your dates, there’s still a lot of value to be had, especially since Hilton has such a huge footprint and you can usually find an option wherever you’re traveling.
