My Take

This is the Delta business card I usually recommend when someone flies Delta regularly and wants a meaningful step up from Gold — without jumping all the way to Reserve. The Companion Certificate alone can justify the annual fee if you’ll actually use it for a trip you’d book anyway.

I like this card most for business owners who take at least one or two Delta trips a year and want better long-term value: a higher welcome offer, status help through MQDs, and a companion benefit that can save hundreds of dollars on the right flight.

If you live near a Delta hub and are deciding which Delta card makes sense at each stage, I walk through my full strategy here: Delta Credit Cards Explained: What I’d Do Living at a Hub .

Why Business Owners Love It

  • Annual Companion Certificate: Can deliver outsized value if you use it strategically (taxes and fees apply; restrictions apply).
  • MQD Headstart + MQD earning: Helps you move closer to Medallion status.
  • 15% off Delta award flights: Automatically applies when booking with miles.
  • Doesn’t count toward 5/24: Keeps personal card options open.
  • Priority boarding + free checked bag: Small perks that make every trip smoother.
